A warm night is ahead for our area, other than a slight chance for a storm in the panhandle most of us should stay dry with lows in the upper 60s and near 70.

Friday we have a noticeable temperature swing across the state. Highs will be in 80s in northern and northwestern Nebraska to 90s and close to 100 in southern and eastern Nebraska. A cold front will be cutting through the state and with the hot air out in front of it that will be the fuel for the fire for storms, some of those storms maybe severe with the main threats large hail and damaging winds.

Temps behind the front drop for the entire state; a beautiful weekend is on tap with comfortable temperatures and sunshine.

Take care,
