After 1-2 inches of rain across parts of western Nebraska, a little quieter for our Tuesday night. There is still a chance of a t-storm tonight and most storms should remain below severe limits. Additionally, we could see some patchy fog and lows will be in the lower 60s with winds out of the SSE 5-15.

Wednesday the heat really gets turned up on our area as we sore into the mid to upper 90s. There is a chance of a storm late in the afternoon and evening on Wednesday night, mainly north of HWY 92.

Thursday through Sunday dangerous heat rolls into the area. Highs will be at or over 100 with our next slight chance of rain not coming until Sunday. Please make sure you’re checking up on the elderly and making sure your drinking plenty of water. Also wear light/colored loose fitting clothes.
