Very hot temperatures will continue Monday afternoon with 90s and 100s across the region. After 4pm (CDT) we run the risk of t-storms developing, especially along a stationary boundary running along Cherry and Brown counties. Some of these storms maybe severe with large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain, a brief tornado spin up is also possible. Scattered T-storms are expected through the overnight on Monday. Isolated severe t-storms are possible, but I think the main threat as we head into the overnight will be the heavy rain.
Take care,
Thomas
