First half on the week = Nice
Second half= oo no

That’s how the week is going to break down.

Monday night look for partly cloudy skies, lows will be in the mid-30s in the Platte River Valley and upper 30s elsewhere.

Tuesday has sunny skies with highs ranging in the mid 70s to the north and northeast, lower 80s for the south and southwest areas of the KNOP viewing area. Tuesday night lows with mostly clear skies will be in the low to mid 40s. Winds will be out of the south/southeast through the next 24 hours 5 to 15mph.

Wednesday will sneak in another warm day, but there is an outside chance of a t-storm. Highs will be near 80.

Wednesday night through Saturday is where things become interesting across the area. A strong system pulls into the region, with the chance of rain increasing overnight Wednesday. Thursday looks cool, wet and windy with highs only in the 50s.

Thursday night, Friday and Saturday, depending on how things play out, someone in the KNOP viewing area might get an unwanted treat, that treat is an early may snowstorm. Combine that with the strong winds; might create near blizzard conditions north and west of Arthur. Stay tuned to news 2 for the latest weather updates.
