A slim chance of an isolated t-storm is possible Monday night; lows will be in the lower 50s with winds out of the southeast at 5-10mph.
A cold front along with a dry line will move into the region on Tuesday Afternoon, setting up the stage for a severe weather outbreak after 4pm from southeast of a line from Cody/Kilgore to Big Springs. Between 4pm and 9pm be on the look out for large hail, winds in excess of 60mph, and a possible isolated tornado. After 9pm the severe threat continues, but I think its going to be a large hail and a heavy rain event. Please be aware of some possible flash flooding, especially in Lincoln, Hayes, Frontier, Dawson, Custer and Gosper Counties.
We catch a break on Wednesday, and then another active period of weather begins starting Thursday. Later forecasts and model runs will see if there will be any severe weather at the end of this week. Stay Tuned!
