My apologies for no blog update on Thursday, it was very crazy in the forecast center Thursday afternoon and evening with by far the largest tornado outbreak of the year in Nebraska, and quite possible the Untied States.
The Kearney tornados and I say tornados because it looks like there were multiple tornado touchdowns inside the city of Kearney. The strongest on was rated an EF-2 tornado. That one touched down on the southside of town near I-80.

For our weather on Friday night through Saturday, thankfully it looks quiet. Lows Friday night in the lower 50s, highs Saturday with bright sunshine will be in the 80s.
Sunday the warmth continues, but the storms return. Infact we our under a Slight Risk of severe weather for Sunday, be on the look out for possibly large hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado. Flooding may also be a concern with the wet ground; it wouldn’t take to much rain.
Take care,
Thomas
