More wet weather on the way.
Where not looking at 10 inches of rain like we saw in some areas last Friday, but any rain will be insult to injury, especially in Dawson and Frontier counties. Scattered showers and a rumble of thunder possible, lows will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Highs Tuesday will be only in the 50s and some upper 40s north of HWY 2. Winds will be out of the northeast at 10-15.
Things start to clear out, dry out and cool off on Tuesday night. Patchy frost is a threat, especially areas north of HWY 92 and in low lying river valleys.
Wednesday and Thursday look dry with temps warming into the 70s on Wednesday and 80s on Thursday. Friday brings us another chance of storms.
Happy Memorial Day.
