A snow advisory is in effect for Western Cherry County until 6pm (MDT) Friday. 3 to 5 inches of snow is possible for the western part of the county. Please use caution while driving, especially on HWY 61 north of Hyannis. Please protect young livestock and move them into shelter.
For the rest of the area, expect a rain and rain and snow mix south of HWY 2 and along HWY 83 in Cherry County. Accumulations may approach 1 inch in Eastern Cherry County.
Friday afternoon temperatures will be in the 30s and 40s.
