No, folks, I am not going to Six Flags in Dallas, but our weather will treat us like were at a Six Flags Park.
Temperatures on Wednesday were in the mid to upper 50s, but I still managed to somehow pick up a cold. Go figure! Speaking of cold, that’s what our weather is going be like being on Thursday with snow and blowing snow. Cuddle close with your valentine to compensate!
I am not expecting much in the way of snowfall accumulation with about an inch here in North Platte, 1 to 3 in the western part of the KNOP viewing area, and less than an inch towards Broken Bow and Lexington.
The biggest change you’ll hate after a 55 degree and sunny February day is the biting cold air. Temps on Thursday will struggle to get to 20 degrees, and will be near zero Friday morning.
The cold air doesn’t last long, though, as we’re back in the upper 30s on Friday, and near 50 on Saturday. Then it’s another chance of snow on Sunday with colder temperatures.
Enjoy the ride.
