Monday evening look for light snow and patchy freezing drizzle across the area. Look for precipitation to change to snow during the overnight hours on Monday. By Tuesday afternoon, look for about 1-2 inches in the city of North Platte, and more as you head south, and less to the north.
Cold air plunges into Greater Nebraska Tuesday night too. Lows will be in the single digits with below zero wind chills possible.
Our next shot of snow comes in late Wednesday into early Thursday, but this should be a minor event. Then we warm up as we head towards the weekend with highs by Sunday nearing 50.
