Snow and rain will continue Monday afternoon across the area, an inch or less is expected on the grassy areas. Roadways will remain wet during the afternoon hours, once the sun goes down, roads may become slick. A snow advisory is in effect for Custer, Frontier, Lincoln and Logan counties from 7pm Monday until 1pm Tuesday and might be extended to other areas of the KNOP Viewing area. By Tuesday morning, 3 to 5 inches of wet snow is possible, with the heaviest band setting up in Custer, Frontier, Lincoln, and Logan counties. One other note is that freezing fog might develop across the area Monday night, adding to the slick conditions. Please stay tuned to News 2 through out the day on Monday for the latest weather updates and event/school closings.
