Spring Time Back To Winter

Spring Time Back To Winter

After highs Thursday in the mid to upper 60s, temperatures will crash Friday afternoon back into the 20s and 30s with a stiff north wind at 20-30mph and at times gusting to 40. Light Snow showers are possible Friday afternoon but little or no snowfall accumulation is expected.

Weekend Not Looking To Bad

After a bone chilling start Saturday AM. Highs will rebound nicely into the 40s on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday though looks like the sunnier of the two days as we will have an upper level system pull through the central plains, producing some a few more clouds.

Major Arctic Chill Next Week

Starting possibly as early as Monday night, the flood gates from the arctic will open up and bitter cold air will spill in. Thankfully we don’t have snow on the ground like we did last time the Arctic Express visited us about a week and a half before Christmas, so that will take some of the bite of the chill. But still starting Tuesday I am looking for highs in the teens and 20s and lows around zero or slightly above. Some on and off light snow is possible during the mid week period of next week as well.

Take care,

Thomas
