Hot conditions are getting ready to invade the state of Nebraska for the 4th of July. Highs will be in the 90s for North Platte and areas west, we run a really slim chance of a storm during the afternoon. Friday night looks great for fireworks, go out and shoot some off and remember safety first. Temps will be in the 60s and 70s with a SE wind 5-15.

Saturday, HOT! Temps should approach 100 over most of the area with 103 not out of the question south of Wallace, a great day to spend at the lake. There is a 20% chance of T-Storms towards Saturday evening.

Better chances of storms Sunday and Monday as a storm system will be moving through the central United States. I hope we get some rain out of this, because after Monday it’s looking very dry and hot.

I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th!
Thomas
