Blizzard warnings are in effect for the Nebraska Panhandle, Northeastern Colorado, Northwest Kansas and Parts Of Southwest Nebraska.

I-80 is closed from Big Springs to the Wyoming broader.

I-76 is closed in northeast Colorado.

Hwy 26 is closed in Ogallala.

Travel is not recommend through Friday afternoon west of Ogallala.

Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect for Western Cherry, Grant and Hooker Counties through Midnight (MDT) 4-8” of snow is possible by late Friday.

A Snow & Blowing Snow Advisory is in effect for Arthur, Chase, Deuel, Garden, Keith, McPherson and Perkins Counties until 7pm (CDT) 6PM (MDT). 2-5 Inches of snow is possible through Friday evening.

For North Platte & the rest of the area. I think this is going to be a rain and snow mix event with snowfall accumulations less than 2”. We will still have to deal with the winds; at times they may gust up to 60mph.
