Partly cloudy skies Tuesday night with decreasing winds, lows will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Sunshine and mild temperatures on Thursday, highs will be in lower 50s near Thedford, will go 54 for North Platte, and 58 for Curtis and Imperial line. This will be the last mild and dry day as changes are on the way for Greater Nebraska.
Rain and snow moves in to the area on Thursday night, then changes over to all rain on Friday morning as temperatures will rise into the upper 30s, especially south of HWY 92. Then as cold air pushes into the area, Rain will change to snow, snowfall accumulation is possible across the area. I will have better details on that on Thursday.
First system pulls out Saturday morning with lingering snow showers, Saturday during the day looks nice with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 30s for highs, the second storm system that will affect the area will move in early Sunday morning with a rain and snow mix, were still 5 days out on this system, so stay tuned on how this storm system will pan out. But as of right now it looks like a rain/snow mix on Sunday turning to all snow on Monday, with winds possibly being an issue.
