A significant snowstorm is possible north of HWY 2 Wed Night/THU. Up to 8 Inches of snow is possible, a Winter Storm Watch maybe issued for areas north of HWY 2 by Wed AM. In addition, 3-6 inches of snow is possible between HWY 2 and 92 (Thedford/Stapleton). 1-3 inches of snow is possible between I-80 and HWY 92 (North Platte/Stapleton) South of I -80 (North Platte) only an Inch or Less. Wind is also an issue as well, by Wednesday night, winds may gust to near 45mph.
Iam not done yet, Wednesday afternoon severe weather is possible east of Broken Bow and Lexington. Please be on the look out for large hail and damaging winds if you will be traveling to Grand Island, Omaha and Lincoln.
